So I'm currently out of town and decided to set up a tablet that would upload me a picture every few hours just so I could check on my plants and Gillbert. The above picture was the last picture I received before my tablet decided it was time to install a totally useless update.
I was a bit distraught seeing this and was worried all weekend about it. I'm still away for two more nights so I was starting to freak out. I needed to know if Gillbert was alright so I called up my mom and asked if see would go and check on him. My mom only lives a few minutes away from me so she said she would go into town and check in on Gillbert.
Soon after I asked my mom called back to let me know that Gillbert was alright. It was her first time that she had met Gillbert and she told me all about how excited he was to see her and how playful and curious he was. This made me so happy to hear. Not only were all my fears alleviated but Gillbert was still as happy as can be.
Remind me to give my mom a huge hug when I get home!
