This weeks vlog back at the 30kg roaster, I managed to remember this week at the end of the day to do it before heading home. With staff now arriving at 8am the opportunity to get to work and get the vlog done before they arrive is pretty slim - well unless I get up earlier but that’s not an appealing option.
Anyway it’s been a wet and windy week, and the nights are slowly closing in as we head well into Autumn - it’s been cooler too although the roasters have been keeping it lovely and toasty in work. After a steady weekend it’s been back to the usual hectic work week - although made considerably easier with two extra staff helping carry the load - and with a full time coffee roaster running the 5kg I’m slowly getting caught up on around 9 weeks of missed back end paperwork.
Stock levels have been building back up again too, so orders can be completed and shipped faster - although the biggest struggle at the moment is keeping up with how quickly the stocks of raw coffee are depleting - we are needing multiple deliveries of green coffee each week to keep up with demand on the most popular origins.
Meanwhile https://api.c0ff33a.uk is now nearly fully upgraded to provide fast access to the Hive Blockchain, with HF26 hived now running with haf Postgres database, and hafah connected to directly pull information from the Postgres database - Hivemind is just completing synching and it will all be up and running smoothly.
