RE: A Tiny Dose of Hope
Lol! I didn't know what this was about when I first saw the comment :) I thought you were just calling me deranged... which might actually be accurate anyway ;)

RE: A Tiny Dose of Hope
That is a very important aspect that I didn't even think of. I know sometimes it's necessary to accept help, but it can be so hard to do so!

RE: Fireflies
I haven't read another one yet, but it'll be interesting to see how many ideas are shared once I'm done writing mine. I have a feeling mine is going to be pretty damn dark and unsettling.

Thank you. I've been in that place more often than I care to think about. It can be so devastating. I'm hoping that even if a couple of people read it and think even a little differently next time they're

RE: Fireflies
I hope to have it written before the end of January, but we'll see. I'm giving myself a little cushion to leave time for editing and beta readers and all that fun stuff. Your freewrites have always helped!

RE: Weekend Freewrite -12/21/2019 - Single Prompt Option
I used only the first prompt from the weekend freewrite. I need to go keep the story going, though!

RE: A Tiny Dose of Hope
I haven't dealt with the abuse, but I've definitely dealt with having kids and no money. It is a devastating place to be and can be so hopeless when we want the best for our kids. <3 I'm glad you found

RE: A Tiny Dose of Hope
I've had the blessing of being helped by someone else in my darkest times as well as had those times when I was able to help someone else. I like to think that people will help when they feel that little

Thank you <3 Just a reminder that a little kindness goes a long way. I've been on both sides at different times and I don't want to forget how much even the little things can mean when someone is in

RE: A Tiny Dose of Hope
I had times in my life when someone just happened to appear with a tiny bit of hope in the midst of hard times. It's almost impossible to know how much even a little gesture can mean to someone who needs

RE: Day 790: 5 Minute Freewrite: Thursday - Prompt: disposable diaper
I'm struggling with writer's block this month, so I came back to refresh my freewriting skills :) That's what helped me last time! A Tiny Dose of Hope

RE: 200k Words for NANOWRIMO This year! Whoot!!!
Exactly! The freewrites totally changed my trajectory! Yeah, I plan on publishing everything I wrote during nanowrimo, so those words will be showing up in several novels over the next year!

RE: Life, Health, Publishing & NaNoWriMo
I'm definitely writing in my native language, which helps. I can't imagine trying to translate, too! I write fast, but I'm not a planner at all. Every time I try to plan, it makes me stall and freeze up.

RE: How do You Like My New Pet?
I'm now in heavy editing and marketing mode. There is a lot to do after the fun part of writing! Good luck. :)

RE: Life, Health, Publishing & NaNoWriMo
I don't get on steemit enough anymore, but I spent most of November writing up a storm. I actually wrote my first full-length novel last year for NaNo, so it was a big boost to try again this year! I hope

RE: 200k Words for NANOWRIMO This year! Whoot!!!
Two books finished and two more going strong. I also have two others started, but I didn't work on them this month. If I could just stick to ONE genre, I'd be doing so much better financially, but I guess

RE: 200k Words for NANOWRIMO This year! Whoot!!!
Thank you! Now comes the hard part, the 'boring' marketing, editing and all that. :( I really dislike doing that part.
