玄奘法师

In the South Square of Dayan Pagoda in Xi'an, there is a statue. He is Master Xuanzang. Master Xuanzang overcame h a lot of difficulties and finally arrived at Tianzhu- India.

He studied The Buddhist Scripture hard and finally returned to China. He translated more than 600 volumes of scriptures and made great contributions to Buddhist culture.He will be remembered by the people of all the world.

在西安大雁塔南广场有个雕塑，那是著名的玄奘大法师。玄奘法师的铜像与身后的大雁塔相呼应，引来游客驻足瞻仰，拍照留念。

玄奘河南人，糖贞观三年，从长安出发，游学西域。他沿着丝绸之路，克服了数不清的艰难险阻，经过三年的努力，行程5万余里，终于到达佛教圣地-天竺 - 印度。他在天竺国又用了5年时间寻道，遍游全国，终于学成回国。

玄奘回国带回来不少的经文，有经卷600多部，还有佛像8尊和大量舍利。大慈恩寺落成之后，玄奘任首任住持，他专心致力于佛经翻译事业，为佛教事业做出了巨大的贡献。
