Pretty yellow flowers show up against the sky. Even in washed out light, the color of the flowers comes through strongly. The plant might be called a weed in another circumstance but shows a good fight for life here while growing out of the bricks and mortar of an old garden wall.
Caleb took quite a lot of photos of this wall as he strolled through the gardens at Kylemore Abbey in Ireland. I posted a longer shot of it last week. I know he was fascinated to see this struggle for growth in a difficult circumstance.
