The Strawberry Festival ended a couple of days ago, and it is almost completely packed up and moved out of town.

A friend from the church that I attend basically runs the hiring of the entire Strawberry Festival, and I was asked to help once again this year. I decided that I would considering how much I used to enjoy this even as a kid.

I worked in an office overnight so I really didn't get to enjoy the Festival while it was going on, but I did get to visit it twice this year off of the clock.

I went with my wife and her family, and I mainly just went for the food. I enjoyed all types of food from corn dogs to fried cheese to cinnamon sugar pretzels, and everything in between. On top of the food, I also watched my nephews ride some rides and have a good time. We walked around some of the attractions and shopping booths, but the weather was very cold both days I attended. Since I hate the cold, I was ready to get out of there ASAP and I never really got the time to stop and enjoy it this year.

Either way, at least I did get to go, and get some really good food.

Here is a view of the Ferris Wheel from this year's festival:

Here is a look at the swings:

Working the night shift of the Festival was a bit exhausting, and maybe next year I will skip out on the working and just focus on enjoying the Strawberry Festival!

To the moon,
