A few days ago I posted a picture of a big bass that my brother caught in the Hillsborough River, and here is the one that I got from the same river!
Here is a look at the 2nd biggest bass I have ever caught in my life. I didn't have a scale to weigh it unfortunately.
Pullin this bad boy in on a kayak was a fisherman's delight because he had quite a fight in him. She pulled me around for a few minutes before she finally got tired and I was able to pull her in!
I let it in the same spot right after I got some pictures and hope to catch the same fish again one day. Since it has a distinctive scar and spot on it's side, I will know if I ever catch the same bass again.
I caught this fish using a Zoom Watermelon Red Fluke. This is one of my favorite baits to use and I typically fish it weightless with a 4/0 or 5/0 hook.
