Cardano dominated the top 10 of crypto today with a 38 percent gain taking it's market cap to $17.859 billion dollars. Ethereum and IOTA were the only other 2 coins in the top 10 that could squeeze out a profit at 2 and 1.2 percent, respectively.
The wraith protocol was released for Verge, which sent it's price and market cap back way up gaining over 31 percent and reaching a $2.7 billion dollar market cap.
Other than that, there wasn't much major news. This is especially true in contrast to the South Korean bombshell banning anonymous exchange accounts and new account signups.
Bitcoin is still slow to recover from this news, but I still believe 2018 will be another great year for Bitcoin and crypto in general.
Decentraland (MANA) bounced back nice likely in anticipation of over 150 million tokens out of a 2.8 billion supply being burning within the next 24-48 hours. MANA had been suffering since the developers changed the rules of the Whitepaper in the middle of the auction. Rather than selling the remaining parcels of digital land in Decentraland's VR world for 1,000 MANA as they stated in the Whitepaper, they will now hold another auction. This was a betrayal of trust and unfair to many, and looks like greed on Decentraland's part to me. I still believe in the project for the long term and can't wait to see what the future holds with this coin.
Enjin stayed around $0.15 each and that is impressive to me considering Bitcoin's decline.
EOS has been particularly quiet as of late and I expect another big breakout coming for them within the next couple of weeks!
What do you think will happen next in crypto? Tell me in the comments.
