A few quick hits for todays sports update. We've got the conclusion to the PGA Championships, The winner of the first pick for the NHL draft being revealed and then the Big Ten announced they will be cancelling fall sports.

Congratulations to Collin Morikawa for winning the PGA championship. That was an extremely crowded leader board before Morikawa drained his eagle coming down the back stretch on Sunday. This was Morikawa's first major victory in only his second major appearance. Morikawa is only 23 years old and now will be cemented in golf's history forever.

I was quite excited for the NHL draft lottery before seeing that New York Ranger's ball appear. What an anti-climactic way to end the draft lottery. I instantly don't care about Lafreniere anymore after he goes to a franchise that I rarely even remember exists. The Rangers are so far off my radar they may as well be playing a different sport.

Lastly the Big Ten has cancelled fall sports in what I think is a fantastic move. If you can't play safely, don't play. I think a system to have some college football is still feasible but definitely not a traditional season. I hope more college conferences follow suit and begin cancelling their seasons. We could still have a few tournaments held within bubbles but please don't march out your players like normal.
