The launch was certainly bad, but so was BF4 and BF5. I'd argue that Publishers are pushing developers to make an all inclusive style game. Publishers saw the success of Apex, Fortnite and Warzone. They want a piece of that pie. This means that CoD/BF veterans, OG's and core players, are alienated from what we know works.
