It's a tribal mindset. The Woke Left continues to try and out Woke anyone else, while also attempting to appear virtuous and self righteous. Trump knows exactly how to maneuver and expose this sort of behavior and methodology by the left.

People seem to forget that the Democrats and the Left were taking from Trump's pockets for many years. He knows their secrets and where the bodies are buried (metaphoric of course) so he knows how to play them.
