#monomad today features monochrome variants of the blend of authenticity and ethnicity in full dosage.
Awesome photographs of a man in Hausa kaftan and fila ( it means cap in Yoruba, that's how they call it) and a horse tail in the hand which is mostly won by the Igbos, it signifies rank and respect.
Even the beads won by him are mostly won by the Igbos also.
As for the rings, I could not really associate them to one specific culture because a lot of people wear them.
The choice of location was an outdoor partially demolished building, it seemed pretty abandoned but it would perfectly fit for the composition.
Basically, this is a blend of the major ethnic groups in my country and a touch of Orthodox leather shoes.
These photographs were captured with my Canon EOS5D Mark II and 50mm F1.8 lens which has been very helpful.
I try as much to do the best with it.
I post processed these photographs using gradient maps in Lightroom.
Have a wonderful week ahead.
