Hi friends, how are you? For the first time this summer I went on a cruise, I wanted to try this experience that I had never tried in my life, but above all I wanted to understand if I was suited to this type of trip because I don't like sharing spaces with people too much, but in my opinion it was also the way to see more cities in a fairly quick way given that unfortunately I didn't have many days of vacation, so I left practically with the MSC from the port of Genoa, and the first stop I made was Marseille, a city that many had recommended me to visit but which in reality I had never seen, More than anything I was afraid that it was a somewhat dangerous city but instead it wasn't like that
the fact that I have never been on a cruise, in fact the idea was to do the fjord cruise which in my opinion is perhaps a little more characteristic, and the fact that it reminds me a little of a tourist trip means you have to share the journey with several people and it is always chaos, when you are in a few meters and when you are in the meantime people I don't know if it has happened to you.
As soon as I got off the ship, I met Statue d'ours en Peluche, it is basically a work of art that is located near the muce and was made in 2020 and is about 6 meters high. From what I understood, this puppet was not only placed there for decoration, but also to remember and anxiety. It is a tribute to health workers after the pandemics, very cute, very beautiful to see.
then since I was in Marseille, where they produce one of the most typical souvenirs of the city which is real Marseille soap, I found some shops here where they still make it in the traditional way with olive oil, soda water and salt and so I bought some to take home, there was a smell inside these shops that was a wonderful thing.
I hope this post of mine was interesting, see you next time because my story with this cruise continued, so follow me
