Desktop computer parts
A computer is made up of many parts.
The CPU: Turn on the computer by pressing the POWER button
The Monitor: I use the monitor to see what I'm doing on the computer.
I turn on the monitor by pressing the power button.
The mouse: I move the mouse and click it to select and draw.
I can use a mouse to draw a flower in Microsoft paint
The Keyboard: i use the Keyboard to type letters and numbers
I can type my homework on the computer using the keyboard
Printer: I use the printer to put words and pictures from computer on paper.
I can print my homework from the computer on paper.
Speakers: I use speakers to listen to sounds from the computer.
My friends and I can listen to music from the computer.
Headphones: Headphones allow only me to hear the sound from my computer.
Laptop parts
The laptop computer has all the parts together.
I can also use a mouse, a printer, speakers, and headphones with a laptop.
