Education is a conscious and well-planned effort to create an atmosphere of learning and learning process so that learners actively develop their potential to have spiritual spiritual power, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, as well as the skills needed of him and society. The definition of education is based on the Law of National Education System no. 20 Year 2003.
It is very important to build "atmosphere" in every learning process. A fun and meaningful atmosphere for the child to be interested in learning a thing must be built by realizing that each child is unique or as an individual that differs from person to person. On that basis we as educators must be able to serve each individual different. Instead of just teaching with full of creativity but also can bring the creativity of learners. To be able to bring the creativity to be touched not only reason or logic but also the heart and emotions. This means that pemebalajaran should involve all the hemispheres of the brain that is right brain hemisphere and left hemisphere.
Roger W. Sperry, a Nobel Prize winner and researcher in the field of neurosciencemengakan that the human brain consists of the left and right hemisphere, where each hemisphere has a different function. The main left hemispheric tasks are for language (verbal) including words, logic, math, sequence, analysis, etc. while the right hemisphere task functions apart from language (nonverbal) which includes creativity, rhythm, space awareness, imagination, daydreaming, color and others.
In the learning process all parts of the brain must be developed and connected. Not just one hemisphere of the brain is developed or even there are many things that have been too magnificent one of the brain hemispheres that need to be developed to determine success in doing something. Should be needed in the learning process that must be developed and connected in a balanced way is both right hemisphere and left hemisphere brain. Many things we can meet in the theory of learning that leads us to be able to create a fun and meaningful learning atmosphere. Among them are theories on differentiated curriculum and metaphorming.
According to Prof. Conny Semiawan an education expert conveyed in a training that metaphorming is making connections between analogies, symbols, visualizations, hypotheses, role playing, analysis, and creativity. There are 4 stages in the process of metaphorming ie; connection, discovery, invention and application. Dimanapes and learners are expected to be able to cross and understand the interrelationship between the subject being studied with everything that is not even been thought of by others. This ability that ultimately provides space for students to explore each subject through a process of thinking that involves all parts of the brain.
In the end teachers as educators should be able to create an atmosphere of learning that involves logic and emotion and apply the moral and spiritual values that become the foundation for the learners in applying his knowledge in his life. As well as the implementation of the mandate contained in the 1945 Constitution Article 31 which reads "Every Citizen is entitled to instruction" which means that "every" child is entitled to develop through the fulfillment of his basic needs, is entitled to education and benefit from science and technology, art and culture to improve the quality of life and the welfare of mankind ".
