Liczyłem na to, że uda mi się pobiec co najmniej „dychę”, ale w trakcie biegu nie było to takie oczywiste. Może zacząłem zbyt szybkim tempem (trzy pierwsze kilometry w tempie około 5:45 min/km), ale czułem się dobrze. > **[ENG] I spent Sunday helping my wife with Christmas preparations, but I managed to find a moment for some physical activity. Druga opcja oznaczała, że nie będzie odwrotu i będę musiał przebiec 10 km. Wybrałem tunel, ale chwilę później zdecydowałem się na inny wariant i skręciłem w stronę Mons. Pobiegłem chwilę wzdłuż wewnętrznego ringu (kontrringu) i wróciłem na doskonale znane mi tereny w okolicach stadionu. > **[ENG] At the fourth kilometer, I had to make a decision: whether to turn towards Nimy or go through the tunnel under the street towards Grand Large. Później jeszcze raz zmieniłem plany, ale wtedy okazało się, że może mi zabraknąć kilkaset metrów do pełnego dystansu. Dlatego mój wybór padł na mały staw pośrodku osiedla; trasa wokół niego jest jednocześnie segmentem Stravy – „l'etang des artistes”. Biegłem tam już dwukrotnie, a mój najlepszy wynik był siódmym w dotychczasowej klasyfikacji. Tym razem poprawiłem swój rekord i awansowałem na szóste miejsce. Podium wydaje się być poza moim zasięgiem, ale czwarte miejsce jest realne – będę próbował. > **[ENG] According to my calculations, I would hit that 10k mark if I ran my standard loop around the housing estate. Later, I changed my plans again, but then it turned out I might be a few hundred meters short of the full distance. That's why I chose the small pond in the middle of the estate; the route around it is also a Strava segment – "l'etang des artistes". I had run there twice before, and my personal best was seventh in the current standings. This time I improved my record and moved up to sixth place.
