I hate when I go to great lengths to pack up something I've sold, only to have USPS throw a wrench in the works. I had shipped a package out last Tuesday and have been communicating with the buyer ever since. A few days passed and tracking didn't update. I called last Friday and basically got the runaround that tracking hadn't updated and I couldn't submit a missing mail request until 7 days after it mailed out.
Yesterday we finally got an update.
The USPS employee either didn't bother to scan it or couldn't and didn't bother to manually enter the tracking number. A package I shipped out the day after this one using the exact same labels, packing, etc., was scanned in without issue.
At least it's accounted for now, but it caused a few days of stress all because someone couldn't be bothered to enter in the tracking information so we could get updates. Gotta love it!
