I wish I had discovered SGS many years earlier, but at least I'm here now.

That's a tempting idea. I suppose it could be done cheaper with maybe 1/2oz blanks. The die would be the most expensive part. You could likely handpress it yourself with tools and supplies from home and the hardware store.
