DUO is in a strong position. We use H-E for tracking purposes for tipping and selling H-E tokens for extra dividends. The script checks everyone's DUO balance, but if H-E went down everyone would continue to be curated and get dividends. We made sure curation and dividend payments are handled separately from H-E.
