I was researching an unrelated limited mintage round on ebay as I looked for completed sales. I came across a sold listing for a 1/2oz Prospector's Gold and Gems 2026 prospector round. At first I didn't think much of it until I looked closer.
It looks like they printed out a fake "Certificate of Authenticity" and claimed this was #71/100. There are no serial numbers on these. I would know, because I have an entire roll of them that I asked them to make for me.
Do your research before buying. With AI or even a quick phone call to the company, it wouldn't take long to discover this claim of limited mintage is completely bogus.
