I'm not typically very fortunate when it comes to raffles, lotteries, giveaways, etc. I may occasionally win some small prize, but not usually anything noteworthy. Imagine my surprise when I managed to score a booster bundle pre-order for the new Pokémon Delta Reign series from the Pokémon Center website!
The queue was horrible. It started out quoting an 11 hour wait. Two hours later it was still quoting me a 20 minute wait. I was shocked I was allowed to view the main page and saw a booster bundle actually in stock! I figured I wouldn't even be able to check out, but it let me! I even got a confirmation email!
This last round they cracked down hard on botters. A lot of orders were canceled. The downside is that some actual orders from individuals were thought to be bots and were canceled as well. Hopefully my order doesn't get canceled, but only time will tell.
