It's funny how it doesn't take long being on social media to remind me why I enjoy Hive. I got back into collecting Pok茅mon cards, so I thought I'd join a few subreddits. Someone was discussing the 30th Anniversary event Target was hosting and people were debating if it was for kids or adults.
Several comments said there were goodie bags being handed out. One article called it a "Family Day" and even showed pictures of framed blank templates that could be colored in and taken home as a memento. Someone asked for proof it was advertised for kids and I presented this.
They proceeded to say, "Oh, so no mention of kids anywhere. Got it." Something tells me they got mad when I told them to use deductive reasoning, rather than taking everything literally like a child. Less than a half hour later I find out I'm blocked. Pathetic. 馃ぃ It seems I struck a nerve by proving someone wrong. I later went back and the snowflake must've had a mental breakdown because they deleted their entire profile.
Here on Hive I can be completely wrong and people will usually have a polite discussion. I find it laughable you can be right, call someone out for being wrong and then they block you for it. Then again, Reddit is known for being a dumpster fire. Hive has its issues, but at least it's not Reddit.
