Happy Wednesday, Praetorians! Welcome to Report No. 12 of The Golden Path. It has been quite a while since I published the last entry in this series, but I’ve been fully immersed in tournaments and watching ranked matches. I’m trying to get a better grasp of the Legendary Archons I recently purchased and figure out which units form the best lineup based on their modifiers and tactical abilities. Exploring cards, abilities, and lineages takes time, but it’s something I enjoy immensely—especially since it helps me become more competitive in tournaments and improve my rankings. Of course, I haven't neglected gathering the resources produced on our plots; in my case, the stone quarries are generating the most yield, and they are all located in the Great Lowlands territories. So, let’s take a look at my resource balance in Lands over the past week. Let’s get started!

Tenía bastante tiempo sin publicar la siguiente serie de estos reportes, pero resulta que estoy a tiempo completo en torneos y viendo las partidas en ranking tratando de entender los arcontes legendarios que recientemente compré y cuales son aquellas unidades que forman la mejor alineación en base a sus modificadores y habilidades tácticas. Toma tiempo explorar cartas, habilidades y linajes, pero es algo que disfruto infinitamente sobre todo si es para volverme más competitivo en los torneos y mejorar mis posiciones. Pero por supuesto no descuido el recoger los recursos producidos en nuestras parcelas, en mi caso las canteras de piedra son las que más me están generando y todas ellas están en los territorios de Great Lowlands. Veamos entonces cual ha sido mi balance en Lands esta última semana. Comencemos!

First up, let’s revisit the Volt Event chest openings! It’s been over three weeks since the main chests—the Aurelius chests, which were the priciest and offered the best reward odds—sold out. That leaves the Hyper chests, which offer the next-best odds for rewards and cost 3,500 EVP each. Currently, the Electrofox card costs $19 individually, or close to $11 per BCX when fused. Investing in this card back then was a smart move—I bought in when Hive was at $0.06—so even though we haven't pulled high-value NFTs like skins or special foil cards from these chests, we are still turning a profit.

Hace más de 3 semanas que el cofre principal, los cofres Aurelius, los más caros y con mejores posibilidades de recompensas, pero ya se agotaron. Quedan entonces los cofres Hyper que son los segundos con mejor probabilidades de obtener recompensas, y valen 3500 EVP cada uno. Actualmente la carta de Electrofox esta costando individualmente 19$ y fusionada cerca de 11$ por Bcx, fue una buena decisión invertir en su momento en esta carta ya que lo hice cuando el Hive estaba en 0,06$, así que, aunque no hemos conseguido nfts valiosos de estos cofres como skins o cartas de lámina especial, le estamos ganando beneficios.

I spent a little over three weeks gathering enough EVP to buy 10 Hyper chests; you can see the results below. It was an interesting haul—I got a wide variety of items, including ETN, energy, Glints, and Foundations chests. Maybe I should have focused on buying these chests from the start and had more attempts at getting skins or special foil cards.

Esperé poco más de 3 semanas reuniendo los suficientes EVP para comprar 10 cofres Hyper, el resultado lo puedes ver abajo. Fue interesante, obtuve una gran cantidad de cosas, ETN, energía, glints y cofres de Foundations. Quizás debí dedicarme a comprar estos cofres desde el principio y tener más intentos de conseguir skins o cartas con lámina especial.

I’m going to wait another two weeks before opening 10 Hyper chests; it’s fun to open so many at once, and the rewards have been worth the wait. For now, we’ve accumulated over 14K ETN in-game, plus another 10K in our Trust Wallet—funds we transferred after opening our first Aurelius chests. Those were major jackpots—the most valuable ones, I’d say—though we’re still hoping to pull a skin or a special foil card from these chests.

Por ahora acumulamos más de 14K en ETN dentro del juego y tenemos 10K más en nuestra billetera de Trustwallet que pasamos al abrir nuestro primeros cofres Aurelius. Esos fueron jackpots importantes, los más valiosos diría yo, pero aún seguimos esperando alguna skin o lámina especial de estos cofres.

I was shopping in the card market today; there are plenty of cards I still want to buy, though the main issue is that they’ve become quite expensive! However, there are a few cards out there at good prices that gain extra value because they share a lineage with the Archons I recently bought. The first one is a Ulund: Bellowmancer; it’s a "Taunt" card with excellent health and defense, plus a magic attack. I’ll buy the remaining copies later to upgrade this card to Level 2, but for now, I’m taking advantage of the $1,449 offer.

Hoy estuve de compras en el mercado de cartas, hay muchas cartas pendientes por comprar, el principal inconveniente es que se han vuelto bastante caras! Sin embargo, hay algunas cartas por ahí que están a buen precio y al compartir linaje con los arcontes que recientemente compré adquieren un valor adicional. El primero de ellos es un Ulund: Bellowmancer, es una carta provocadora con muy buena vida y defensa, además de tener ataque mágico. Posteriormente compraré el resto de las copias para llevar esta carta al nivel 2, pero por ahora aprovecharé la oferta de 1.449$.

The second card I bought is from the Escalation mini-set: Tazagantha. It’s a ranged card that appeals to me for several reasons. First, its low mana cost (3) makes it ideal for low-mana battles and the "Power of Three" ruleset, which boosts the damage of units with mana costs between 1 and 3. Second, it belongs to the Minotaur lineage, so I can use it alongside the "Brave the Bull" Archon; since it can attack from the first position, I can place it at the vanguard of my lineup.

La segunda carta que compré es del miniset Escalation: Tazagantha. Es una carta rango que me ha gustado por varias razones, la primera de ella es su bajo coste de mana (3), eso la hace ideal para batallas de bajo mana y también para la ruleset Power of Three que potencia el daño de unidades que tienen un coste de mana de 1 a 3. Y la segunda razón, es que tiene linaje minotauro, y puedo usarlo con el arconte Brave the Bull y como puede atacar desde la primera posición, puedo ubicarlo en la vanguardia de mi alineación.

Finally, we collected the output from our plots, starting with our usual grain harvest in Hamford and Bredaine. There hasn't been much progress in this area, other than my decision to put off renting units for my plot in Bredaine until next season, when I'll have more liquid DEC available to hire workers.

Por último recogimos la producción de nuestras parcelas, comenzamos recogiendo nuestro acostumbrado grano en Hamford y Bredaine. No hay mucho avance en este apartado, solo que decidí dejar la decisión de alquilar unidades para mi parcela en Bredaine para la siguiente temporada donde tendré más Decs líquidos para alquilar trabajadores.

Now, let’s look at each of the quarries we own, starting with the most remote one: the plot in Bredaine. I bought this plot because it was a "Rare" type and came at a great price, so I seized the opportunity and picked it up for $17. I have some delegated cards working there—cards that were assigned to me a while back—and on average, they are generating 7.7k stone per week. Can it be improved? Yes, there is plenty of room for improvement, but since these workers are delegated, they are essentially working for free; I only cover the cost of the grain they consume when the stone is collected.

Ahora veamos cada cantera que tenemos, comencemos por la parcela más alejada que tenemos, en Bredaine. Esta parcela la compré en Bredaine porque era rara y estaba a muy buen precio, así que no perdí la oportunidad y la adquirí por 17$. Aquí tengo trabajando algunas cartas que me delegaron hace ya un tiempo y en promedio me esta generando 7.7K de piedra semanalmente. Puede mejorarse? si, hay mucho que mejorar aquí pero como estos trabajadores son delegados están casi trabajando gratis y solo estoy costeando el grano que consumen al momento de recoger la piedra.

Next, we have two plots in the same region: Oxborough. Let's start with the Common plot—the only quarry in the Canyon biome—where we have our Electrofox working alongside a Level 2 Verico card and a Level 2 Gold Chaos Legion card; the latter two share a lineage. Finally, we’ve rented two max-level Gold Chaos Legion workers that are also Fiends. If I want to improve or optimize production through lineage bonuses, I need to upgrade the Verico card, but that will have to wait for now since they’ve become quite expensive. Overall, however, this setup is producing 9k stone, which is pretty good for a Common plot.

Luego tenemos 2 parcelas en una misma región: Oxborough. Comencemos con la común que es la única cantera en bioma Canyon, y donde tenemos nuestro Electrofox trabajando, una carta Verico lvl 2 y una legendaria Chaos Legion dorada también lvl 2 y con la que comparten linaje. Por último alquilamos 2 trabajadores Chaos Legion doradas al máximo nivel y que también son fiend. Si quiero mejorar u optimizar la producción por compartir linaje, debo upgradear la carta Verico pero por ahora tendrá que esperar porque se han vuelto bastante costosas. Pero en aspectos generales con esta configuración, estoy produciendo 9K de piedra y para ser una parcela común esta bastante bien.

Lastly, there’s my Epic plot; I haven’t made any major changes here in a long time, and it generates an average of 19k stone. All the workers you see here—along with the Epic-tier units and the totem—belong to me. I completely ignored the Rebellion set so I could build this plot on a modest budget. Given the disaster that set turned out to be, I don’t regret that decision at all; I think the best thing to do is just forget about it entirely. Now, I’m seriously considering upgrading from the Common totem to an Epic one. To do this, I plan to buy Epic totem fragments gradually until I have all six; it’ll be a long process, but it will be worth it.

Por último, mi parcela épica, aquí no he realizado cambios importantes en mucho tiempo, y en promedio me esta generando 19K en piedra. Todos los trabajadores que ves aquí con el título épico y el totem son de mi propiedad. Ignoré por completo el set Rebellion para poder armar esta parcela con un presupuesto modesto. Al final no me arrepiento con el desastre que fue ese set creo que lo mejor que podemos hacer, es olvidarla completamente. Ahora lo que estoy pensando seria mente es en mejorar ese totem común y colocar uno épico. Para ello estoy planificando comprar fragmentos de totem épico gradualmente hasta completar los 6, será un proceso largo, pero valdrá la pena.

So, our stone balance for this week stands at 698K. By next week, we’ll have recouped the 320K stone we spent—meaning we’ve covered the deficit—so the rest of this quarter will be about continuing to accumulate resources and waiting for the upcoming Lands updates!
