Greetings, everyone, and happy start to the week! This is practically my last week of vacation, and it's coincided with the rainy season, so I've been taking advantage of these last sunny days to spend time with my nephew. Once I start university, I won't have time to see him anymore. He's already passed his first year of high school, and I haven't been able to see him all this time. I want to make the most of my time with him while he's in this stage because they tend to forget about you afterward, and with the anarchy that is Venezuela, our society is currently a breeding ground for nihilism, which is why it's important to maintain family ties. I've also had time to dedicate more time to Hive, and this week has been particularly productive. But before getting into those details, let's look at the price of Hive, which has risen significantly in recent days.

It was good news to see this price increase because it came just when I had to exchange all the liquid Hive from my HBD rewards. If we recall last week, we were at a dismal $0.039 for Hive, and now we're back down to $0.042. It's held steady for the last 16 hours; we'll see if its value continues to rise or remains unchanged, but in any case, I hope this brings some joy back to the community, which seemed downcast watching Hive lose value week after week.

This increase comes at a good time to give me the push I need to achieve my goals on MyHiveGoals! Especially the HBD reward, which is the most challenging one to reach. The big question is, if the value of Hive continues to rise, how long will we have to wait to see HP/HBD rewards again? And will we see the HBD APR return to 15%? Only time will tell.

But let's look at our favorite pair, Hive/HP. We're keeping up a good pace with our daily power-ups, going from 107 Hives to 103. I've been tempted to use some Hives to buy some Splinterlands NFT cards, but I think it's wise to wait until the end of this month when I'll buy Hive again from Binance to fund my wallet before September 1st and #HPUD. For now, I can tell you that I'm on track with my daily power-ups, so we're on pace for our eighth consecutive month doing #HPUM.

Now, the impact of these daily power-ups, along with the activity in comments, curations, and finally posts this week, has greatly contributed to generating 320 HP this week, almost triple what we were generating a month and a half ago! This represents significant progress towards my annual goal of 12,000 HP, leaving us just 37 HP away from this goal by 2026.

The graphs indicate a significant jump in HP income, and that's because one of our posts, part of our project to review early 20th-century films and their contribution to contemporary cinema, has been generously appreciated. In fact, I even won one of the hardest badges to obtain: the one for the highest-rated post of the week! It has certainly been a real pleasure to see this project, which began as an initiative to share my passion for classic cinema, appreciated in this way. We've already reviewed three classic films, and this week I'll be sharing my perspective on the contributions of one of the great filmmakers of Expressionism in early 1920s cinema, F. W. Murnau.

In terms of savings, we had a higher income than in the lean months, partly due to our activity on the blockchain and also a bit of luck, as I exchanged my liquid reward Hives just as their price was rising. Last week we managed to generate 7 HBD, and this week we reached 13 HBD! Unfortunately, this is my last week off; otherwise, I would continue to be active, but I may have to reduce my activity as I will have to return to my teaching duties.

But let's see how our generated interest is progressing so far and how it can help us reach our annual goal of 2300 HBD. With these 13 HBD, we have already reached almost 2138 HBD, and the APR interest percentage that we are about to collect would allow us to reach 2150 HBD even before the end of the week! In short, we would reach our goal of 2150 HBD before the end of August. Although it is very likely that I will not be able to maintain this pace of activity in September, I believe I can achieve the next goal of 50 HBD by the end of September.

This penultimate week has been truly productive, friends. Next week we'll see how far we can go in HBd because I'm sure we'll already be well above 12,000 HP in HP, and we only have the most difficult challenge left: closing the year at 2,300 HBd. Esta es prácticamente mi última semana de vacaciones y ha coincidido con la temporada de lluvias, así que he aprovechado estos últimos días de sol para compartir tiempo con mi sobrino porque cuando comience mis actividades en la universidad ya no tendré tiempo para verlo, ya aprobó el 1er año de secundaria y no lo pude ver en todo ese tiempo. Quiero aprovechar el mayor tiempo mientras esta en esa etapa porque luego tienden a olvidarse de uno y con la anarquía que es Venezuela, en el momento actual nuestra sociedad es un caldo de cultivo para el nihilismo y por eso es important mantener los lazos familiares. También he tenido tiempo de dedicarle más tiempo a Hive y esta semana ha sido particularmente productiva, pero antes de entrar en esos detalles, veamos el precio del Hive que estos últimos días ha subido notablemente su precio.

Fue una agradable noticia ver este aumento de precio, porque llegó justo en el momento en que tenía que cambiar todo el Hive líquido de las recompensas en HBD. Si recordamos la semana pasada, estábamos en unos tristes 0,039$ por Hive y ahora volvemos a los 0.042$. Se ha mantenido así en las últimas 16 horas ya veremos si sigue aumentando su valor o se mantiene, pero en cualquier caso, espero que esto devuelva algo de alegría a la comunidad que parecía apesadumbrada viendo como el Hive perdía valor con el paso de las semanas.

Esta subida llega en buen momento para darme el empujón necesario para lograr mis objetivos en #MyHiveGoals! Sobre todo en el caso del HBD que es el objetivo más cuesta arriba de alcanzar. La gran pregunta es si, de seguir subiendo el valor de Hive, cuanto tiempo tendríamos que esperar para volver nuevamente a las recompensas en HP/HBD? y también, volveremos a ver un regreso del APR de HBD a 15%? Solo el tiempo lo dirá.

Pero veamos nuestro par favorito Hive/HP, llevamos un buen ritmo en lo que se trata a los power up diarios, de 107 Hives pasamos a 103, me he visto tentado en tomar un poco de Hives para comprar algunas cartas NFT de Splinterlands, pero considero prudente esperar a finales de este mes que volveré a comprar Hive desde Binance y así fondear mi billetera antes del 1ero de septiembre y el #HPUD. De hecho hasta gané una de las insignias más difíciles de obtener, el de la publicación mejor valorada de la semana! Sin duda que ha sido un verdadero gusto que este proyecto que surgió como una iniciativa de compartir mi pasión por el cine clásico, sea apreciado de esta manera. Ya llevamos 3 clásicos del cine reseñados y esta semana compartiré mi visión del aporte de uno de los grandes cineastas del expresionismo en el cine de principios de 1920, F. W. Murnau.

En ahorros por supuesto, tuvimos un ingreso superior a los meses pesados, en parte por nuestra actividad en la blockchain y también la suerte, pues cambié mis Hives líquidos de recompensas justo en el momento en que esta subiendo de precio. La semana pasada logramos generar 7 HBD y esta semana llegamos a la cantidad de 13 HBD! Lamentablemente esta es mi última semana libre, de otro modo seguiría activo, pero es posible que tenga que bajar mi actividad pues tendré que retomar mis actividades docentes.

Pero veamos como van nuestro intereses generados hasta ahora y como pueden ayudarnos a alcanzar nuestra meta anual de 2300 HBD. Con estos 13HBD ya alcanzamos casi los 2138 HBD y el % de intereses por APR que ya estamos próximos a recoger, nos permitiría alcanzar los 2150 HBD antes incluso de terminar la semana! En resumen, alcanzaríamos nuestra meta de llegar a los 2150 HBD antes de cerrar el mes de agosto. Aunque es muy probable que no pueda mantener este ritmo de actividad en septiembre, creo que puedo concretar la siguiente meta de los próximos 50 HBD para el cierre del mes de septiembre.

Esta penúltima semana ha sido realmente productiva amigos, la semana que viene veremos hasta donde logramos llegar en HBD porque en HP estoy seguro que ya estaremos muy por encima de los 12000 HP y solo nos queda el reto más complicado, cerrar el año en 2300 HBD, estoy seguro que siendo constantes lograremos esta meta incluso antes de lo esperado.
