Greetings, community! Welcome to week #27 of #MyHiveGoals. This weekend, besides enjoying the World Cup final, I spent time with my nephew because we celebrated Children's Day on Sunday. While we were in my room, he discovered a jar of coins behind the TV. They were coins worth 1 Bolivar in 2008; currently, the value of that coin is around 1/10¹⁴! My nephew was surprised because the only coins and bills he knows are dollars. When he told me that, it made me deeply sad to see how we are not only losing our country's economy but also our identity. Many friends have asked me why, in the face of the military aggression we've suffered in Venezuela for the past seven months, we haven't even fought back. Perhaps the answer lies precisely there: when a population loses its identity and is completely depoliticized, what reasons does it have to fight? For over 12 years, the national currency has suffered this aggressive devaluation, and at the same time, strangely enough for any other country, a foreign currency was allowed to infiltrate our economy. If we survive this entire social, political, and economic crisis as a nation, and if we look back to the causes of this catastrophe, the descent into a Weimar-style economy will be a crucial element worthy of study.

Seeing those coins also reminded me that we haven't known what it's like to save for over a decade. Unfortunately, we are in the hands of a kleptocracy that decided to place the burden of the crisis on the shoulders of the entire population, turning our economy into one similar to, or even worse than, that of the Weimar Republic, where we barely receive our salaries and have to rush to spend them all the same day because saving is literally like throwing them into the fire. This is why many Venezuelans have moved into the crypto ecosystem; it has become a valid safe haven to protect the value of our work. Venezuela is a country with a young population, so we have learned very quickly about the nature of blockchain and how we can use this tool as a means of saving and even payment. In Hive, I have found not only that safe haven of value in the form of Hive Power (HP) and Hive Backed Dollar (HBD), but also an ideal platform to express myself, just as I am doing now.

As of today, Hive is maintaining its price close to half a cent. Certainly, these aren't the best times for our cryptocurrency, but as I mentioned, I use this platform to protect my income. Last week, I funded my Hive wallet to back it up with HBDs and NFTs from projects like Splinterlands. So, again, rather than thinking about getting rich on this blockchain, my focus is on it as a store of value and utility as a Web 3 platform. The curation rewards are helpful in boosting my influence within the network in the form of HP, so let's see how our goals are progressing in these two areas.

I funded my wallet the week before last with Hive that I bought on Binance, but I've almost spent it all on Splinterlands assets, which are currently generating various layer-two tokens like Dec and Sps. I might fund my wallet again with more Hive before the end of July. I'll try not to spend it all on Splinterlands so I have a reserve to continue doing the daily power-ups. We're already more than halfway through the year doing power up every day. If I manage to complete this challenge, it will be 2 years in a row or 24 months doing Hive Power Up Months.

The goal I set for myself this year, and I'm serious about it, was HP. Our goal of 12,000 HP for this year already seems like a very achievable dream! Just this past week, we reached 11,000 HP! It seemed like a really difficult goal from the very beginning of the year when I was at 7,000 HP and all this political turmoil in Venezuela began. The uncertainty was so great in January that I was already resigned to the idea that I wouldn't be able to continue in the blockchain.

In summary, we generated almost 130 HP between post rewards, curators, comments, and daily power-ups. I was still a little dissatisfied since I generated less than last week; perhaps it was because the Hive was higher last week, but I hope that metric will change throughout this week since I've resumed my microblogging activity, so we'll see how our metrics are next week.

Our second goal is to accumulate our precious HBD. Just reaching 1,000 HBD was a huge effort when I first started taking HIVE's savings system seriously, using this stablecoin and its attractive APR. Since then, I haven't rested, converting half of my rewards into HBD. This past week, we generated 5,346 HBD, less than last week, but understandable given Hive's low price these last few days.

Our goal here is 2,300 HBD, and with this week's earnings, we've reached 2,079 HBD. Let's not forget the interest we earn each month, which adds to our savings and creates a snowball effect to reach our goal. Currently, we're at 16 HBD, and although there are less than two days left to claim it, I'll wait until Sunday to do so and reach 2,100 HBD.

And that concludes my #MyHiveGoals report. As you can see, we're still on track to reach our annual goals. I'm hopeful of completing these goals before November so I can start preparing for my 2027 goals, where I plan to dedicate a significant portion of my time to increasing my HP and substantially boosting my hive power. Bienvenidos a mi semana #27 de #MyHiveGoals, este fin de semana además de disfrutar del partido final de la Copa del Mundo, estuve compartiendo con mi sobrino porque el domingo celebramos el día del niño y mientras compartía con él en mi cuarto descubrió un tarro de monedas que tenía detrás del televisor, son monedas que valían 1 Bolivar en el 2008, actualmente el valor de esa moneda es cerca de 1/1x10e14! A mi sobrino le sorprendió porque las únicas monedas y billetes que conoce son los dólares. Cuando me dijo eso me dió una profunda tristeza ver como no solo estamos perdiendo la economía de nuestro país, sino también la identidad. Hay muchas amistades que me han preguntado porque ante la agresión militar que sufrimos en Venezuela hace ya 7 meses ni siquiera luchamos, quizás la respuesta esta precisamente allí, cuando una población pierde su identidad y es despolitizada completamente ¿Qué motivos tiene para luchar? Desde hace más de 12 años que la moneda nacional sufre esta agresiva devaluación y al mismo tiempo de forma extraña, para cualquier otro país, se permitió infiltrar una moneda extranjera en nuestra economía. Si sobrevivimos como nación a toda esta crisis social, política y económica y busquemos atrás en el tiempo las causas de esta catástrofe, la caída en una economía tipo Weimar será un elemento crucial y digno de estudio.

Ver esas monedas también me recordó que hace más de una década que no sabemos lo que es ahorrar, lamentablemente estamos en manos de una cleptocracia que decidió poner sobre los hombros de toda la población el peso de la crisis. convirtiendo nuestra economía en una similar o incluso peor que el de la República de Weimar donde apenas cobramos nuestros salarios debemos correr a gastarlo todo el mismo día porque conservarlo el literalmente tirarlo al fuego. Esta es la razón por la que muchos venezolanos nos hemos movido a ecosistema cripto, se ha convertido en un refugio válido para proteger el valor de nuestro trabajo, básicamente Venezuela es un país de población joven así que hemos aprendido muy rápidamente sobre la naturaleza de la blockchain y como podemos usar esta herramienta como un medio de ahorro e incluso de pago. En Hive he conseguido no solo ese refugio de valor bajo la forma de Hive Power (HP) y Hive Backed Dollar (HBD), sino también una plataforma ideal para expresarme, tal como lo estoy haciendo ahora.

Al día de hoy Hive mantiene su precio cercano al medio centavo, ciertamente no son los mejores tiempos para nuestra criptomoneda pero como les dije utilizo esta plataforma para proteger mis ingresos. La semana pasada fondeé mi billetera de Hive para respaldarlo en forma de HBD y NFTs de proyectos como Splinterlands así que nuevamente más que pensar en hacerme rico en esta blockchain, mi enfoque esta en refugio de valor y utilidad como plataforma web 3, las recompensas de curación son coadyuvantes que me ayudan a potenciar mi influencia dentro de la red bajo la forma de HP, así que veamos como van nuestras metas en estos 2 parámetros.

Había fondeado la semana ante pasada mi billetera con Hive que compré en Binance, pero ya casi que me los gasté todo en activos de Splinterlands que actualmente me están generando distintos tokens de segunda capa como Dec y Sps. Es posible que antes de que termine este mes de Julio vuelva a fondear mi billetera con más Hives, trataré de no gastarlo todo en Splinterlands para tener una reserva y continuar haciendo los power up diarios. Ya estamos a más de la mitad del año haciendo power up todod los días, si logro completar este reto ya serán 2 años en fila o 24 meses haciendo Hive Power Up Months.

La meta que me propuse este año y en serio fue con el HP, nuestra meta de 12000 HP para este año parece ya un sueño bastante realizable! Solo esta semana que acaba de terminar llegamos a los 11K en HP! Me parecía una meta realmente complicada desde el mismo comienzo de año cuando estaba en 7K y comenzó toda esta turbulencia política en Venezuela, la incertidumbre era tal en enero que ya me estaba haciendo a la idea que no iba a poder continuar en la blockchain.

En resumen generamos casi 130 de HP entre recompensas por publicación, curaciones, comentarios y los power up diarios, igual quedé un poco insatisfecho ya que generé menos que la semana pasada quizás fue porque el Hive estaba más alto la semana pasada, pero espero que esa métrica cambie a lo largo de esta semana ya que nuevamente he retomado mi actividad de microblogging, así que ya veremos la semana próxima como están nuestras métricas.

Nuestra segunda meta está en nuestros valiosos HBD ya solo llegar a los 1000 HBD fue un esfuerzo enorme cuando comencé a tomarme en serio el sistema de ahorros de HIVE bajo la forma de esta stable coin y su atractivo % de APR, desde entonces no he descansado y la mitad de mis recompensas los transformo en la forma de HBD. Esta semana que terminó generamos 5.346 HBD fue menos que la semana pasada pero es comprensible dado el bajo precio que ha tenido Hive estos últimos días.

Nuestra meta aquí son los 2300 HBD y con lo generado esta semana llegamos a los 2079 HBD, no olvidemos que tengo los intereses que cada mes podemos sumar a nuestros ahorros y generar el efecto bola de nieve para alcanzar nuestra meta. Actualmente va por los 16 HBD y aunque faltan menos de 2 días para reclamarlos, esperaré hasta el domingo para hacerlo y así llegar a los 2100 HBD.

Y hasta aquí llego mi reporte de #MyHiveGoals, como pueden ver seguimos manteniendo el ritmo para alcanzar nuestras metas anuales, tengo esperanzas de completar estas metas antes de noviembre para así irme preparando para mis metas del 2027 donde pienso dedicarme en buena parte a aumentar mi HP e incrementar notablemente mi poder de colmena, espero haber cerrado ciertos ciclos profesionales para cuando el 2027 llegue y así poder dedicarme con más calma y concentración a la blockchain.
