1st - We have never made a good programmer interface. We should have had AI or fuzzy logic built in long ago. So much is copy-pasta functions from older code. And, we should have intelligent design tools that got you to connect all the links/names properly.

We shouldn't have automatic memory/trash collection. We should have a tool that shows when links get broken.

2nd - We need to move past "jobs". Remember those 20 hour work weeks we were promised, where are they? Mostly it is people who want more than the 20 hours would pay. To fast track their toy buying. I see independent/distributed manufacturing being the new thing.

3rd - AI is going to get a LOT better, but not in the hands of the corp giants. Basically, we will have desktop secretaries that are actually good at their jobs.
