People have started to design self driving cars, that will pick up and drop of an individual person, rather than try to solve the above problem.

It always comes down to the richer people paying for the poorer people.
In a world where 20% of the people create 80% of the goods be any different?

In the Pareto distribution, the bottom 20% create almost nothing, however, they are still people, and must be supported.

So, we have to be efficient with the goods we get from the top 20%, and that has always been a problem. Because graft and corruption are real things.
