I do not consider cannabis as hard drug.
That said, so much of what we have is because of the open minded people took trips and found information/ideas/inventions and brought them back. And so, much of what we consider society wouldn't even exist if not for the trips. Especially not Rock & Roll.
Now, if you had many childhood traumas, (CPTSD) like being the scapegoat of the family (and many others), you have drugs, pumping through your body, that are 50x stronger than morphine. It is these people who are susceptible to drugs/addictions. Usually, just so that they feel normal.
And if we want to talk about stopping drug use, we have to start at stopping and healing childhood trauma.
So, we have decided that the hard drugs are to be banned, and so, those who feel they need them have to be criminals to get them, and often criminals to afford them, and this causes a ton of problems for society, like theft and "lazy youth".
It is sad, that even psychology is turned against these broken and hurt people.
