That is actually fairly close to the actual truth.

The big piece missing is that there are two paths forward.

1. Where we are in the diabolic plan - eat your bugz, stay in your pod, take your drugz
2. Where we learn what freedom really means. End war, end hunger, end poverty

Or, in other words, it has all culminated in one point, where good vs evil sees which will win.
