We can't really talk about better money until after we've got bitcoin.

And then, personal energy will be even more valuable. Personal skilled energy, way valuable.
The newer "money" will reflect that.

Of course, many things will be made at home. And many commodities will be highly roboticized. But, things that take real skill / craftsmanship will be traded for other things from similar levelled people.

But, at this point we won't be paying for houses, nor electricity.

And, in the future, we will each generate our own electricity, and our communication will not be over wires.
