I hate musical instruments! As in, such a tiny difference of where the wood was in the tree, makes the instrument beautiful, easy, complex, complicated, painful… to use.

The right amount of lightness/heaviness Too heavy and it dulls the sound. Too light and it doesn't hold a tuning.

Such little things make building instruments annoying.
And after much work, will it sing for the artist?
