I do believe that this plan exists, but i do not know if it will get implemented.

Like i said above, silver becomes very valuable for making very important new tech. And it may make silver parity with gold. 1 ounce silver = 1 ounce gold

And then, the plan for silver/gold coinage will have to be thrown out.
