There have been a few programs that sorta work like these books say. But not really.
I find free market capitalism gives the results desired better and easier. It really is about making people feel as if working together will benefit them. Right now, we need money / script, because our brains cannot see the whole network.
We also still have lazy people.
We also still have destructive people.
We also still have stupid people.
In a commune, you have to exclude those people, or it doesn't work.
We will need a system that motivates them, or at least minimizes their damage.
