I agree with you that it is rocketship waiting to blast off. A beach ball that has been held under water too long. But is it an investment? It is more like a lottery ticket. It is just not if you win, but when.
Food i would call an investment, because it is paying a high ROI.
And, even if things transpire to where that is not the case, unlike gold, you CAN eat it.
I wish i drank alcohol so i would know which to buy. I really have no clue, so i would end up buying big bottle of vodka... that would probably work better for exterior application (first aid) than interior
