If you sign up for gmail, you have google cloud account.
In many places, getting a phone/number from a particular carrier, gives you a cloud account.
This is what pineApple does.

And all these apps are set to upload to cloud. You need to go into settings and turn it off... but where, which app? What settings? And that usually doesn't stop it, you just do not get to see it then.

There are de-googled phones. You may want to look into those.
