i conceive of cryptos, bitcoin included, having a privacy layer, or maybe a privacy lightning network. (you can already do that if you can run your own node and make a new address each transaction)

So, in the end, you can choose to send your transaction in the clear. So everyone knows you sent the money. Or go full privacy. Maybe even different levels. We will see.
