Another part of war being just plain silly in the future is that defense systems increase exponentially.
So, the enemy is sending jets and helicopters and drones to attack. So, we release our flying bricks.

Their 1 million dollar flying thingy, smacks into a $20 brick, that is just designed to get in the way. Flying thingies do not do well against running into things in the air.

And this is just the first round stuff.
The Tesla stuff just makes attacks impossible because they are not in the same space.

Further, if you attack, then you will see real boycotts. If people do not support your aggression, you will find everyone else will not want to trade with your group.
