The betting markets are very strange to me.
The stock market, where people play with people's livelihoods, their businesses
The bond market, where it is just a bunch of people betting on people being able to repay this stuff made up out of thin air.
AND THE COMEX!
Lets say that we had a wheat shortage.
So everyone buys wheat and wheat futures.
Driving up the cost of everyone's life.
This kind of betting on people's lives really seems asinine to me.
Especially the COMEX.
I feel we should have people that are here for delivery. People that actually need the commodity. And they can bid and actually work out a price for the commodity. Supply and demand.
EVERYONE ELSE should be moved to "off-track" betting.
Where is it just a casino. A zero sum game.
If you want to bet, you can bet, but all you are getting is the loser's money.
The odds show what is happening.
"Betting" on crypto is weird. As in, this is an explosive, and emerging market.
A world changing thing. Even the people who get in at the end will be better off.
The new money is THAT MUCH better than the old fiat.
This is like going from a poker game where the house and certain players are colluding and playing against you and cheating is considered normal... to a game of chess, where you have full knowledge of the current state, and all cheating can be seen clearly.
But this isn't even accurate, as we are going from a PVP to a PVE game.
