You are not wrong, but also not correct.

You are conflating all force as bad.

Murderers absolutely have to be stopped, and that is almost always through force.
You have to defend yourself and your property, and that uses force.

But, at what line does one become a Nanny State?

An analogy i used recently:
So, a group decides to split in two, we¹ will go practice communism over here, and we² will go practice capitalism over there.

What is your plan for when the communists run out of food (inevitability) and they come over to the capitalism group to steal food?

• Kill them all?
• We knew this was coming, so we saved a lot of food for you?
• Are you willing to give up your starvation plan now? If so, we will give you some food.

The other real problem is we have a system designed by psychopaths, run by sociopaths and supported by useful idiots.

If you remove those who want humanity dead from the top, what would the system we have actually do? Would things suddenly start working as intended? Instead of all these "UN"intended consequences?
