I believe the CCP will try... they have been planning for this for decades.
And Xi wants to do it in his lifetime.

Soooo, damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead.

However, i feel that this move is one of the pieces that obliterates the CCP.
Imagine the CCP trying for the war... and after moving all the troops out of China towards Taiwan
that the 3 rivers gorge dam breaks, while real riots show up
While Hong Kong seriously takes back their area.

And then the CCP will be spread too thin and have all their war resources in the wrong area... and no more CCP.

But this is just an explanation, a conjecture of what happens to cause an end point that i know to be coming.

It could be that Xi tells the CCP, we are disbanding.
