I have been working on ways to provide "free" technology.
(as in not constrained to big-tech control)

and... i am now working on small chip manufacturing.
The entire industry is controlled, so much that making "free" technology is either impossible or costs 10x as much.

A piece i am having a problem with is that it only takes a few people to put govern-cement back doors into things.
So, 100s of people working together to make it happen, but only 1 bad apple to make it worthless.

How can we guarantee that chips themselves are not compromised?
