If you try to explain color to a blind person, you will fail.
And you will fail in ways you can't imagine.

You can only tell someone that things exist outside of their awareness and hope that they will increase their awareness to get a glimpse of it. You can't help the person to see. They have to do it on their own. It is a journey inside their own mind that they must take on their own.

There was a time when humans did not have as many types of cones in their eyes, and could not see all the colors that we take for granted today. Now, people are being born with a 4th type of cone, and so, will we ridicule them for describing a group of colors that we may not even recognize as light?
(imagine the last double rainbow you saw. Imagine that the space between these two is filled with continuous bands of color, and humans just see red through violet)
