Well, there is art, and then there is art. And if you are talking about art, that is artsy, then that might be a whole other level of art...

But seriously, the thing about art is if it translates into emotions in the person that is viewing it.
And are these good emotions? Are the images transferring data across space and time?

I have seen people spend months doing an oil painting... that was crap.
I have seen Picasso do a doodle in 10 seconds... that was brilliant.

The thing is, when making art, we feel that more time equals more importance, more weight...
And this is relative.

I can make a sketch in under 15 minutes to convey to my client what i am about to make.
That is good art, but it is not really good ART.
Sure many of your iterations of digital painting takes moments to do, are they lesser for being so?

Most of the best selling art is just computer printings. The most infamous is computer printings with some painters adding real paint on the highlights. Is this art?

And the time scale...
You make art in hours or days.
Most of the art i wish to create takes lifetimes.
