I can vouch for these prison made goods. I too was working in govern-cement job and was shown / demonstrated these prison built desks and chairs.

At that time i thought good. At least these bad people are doing something, but then you find that police almost never arrest really bad people, they arrest drug users and non-crime "criminals"

Bad people are too hard to catch, fight back and/or are often part of the police force.
