Policing needs to be completely reformed.

The incentives in the entire thing are wrong, and lead to, and only to, very bad results for society.

The police are a legalized gang.
And, when threatened (by logic) they will circle the wagons and do anything they have to, to defend themselves.

Already, most police forces are there only as a money making endeavor. To tax people for the audacity of driving to work. While crime runs rampant.

Instead of having police write tickets, why aren't they two in a car, and patrol all the bad areas of town?
