I just love how the black bird gets more bleached out as you go further down the page :-p

I had a coloring book with a picture of red winged black bird back when i was a kid.
Been fascinated by them... or it was just an easy name to remember, but i have never gotten to see one... because i never venture over to that side of the Mississippi.

All of our birds are very gray/brown.
We don't have blue jays
We have scrub jays. And they are about as colorful as you get here.

We also really don't have song birds either.
