Monero is a weird one.

You have two really competing forces.
Its strength is its greatest weakness.

So, we have a coin that is perfect for avoiding the govern-cement watchers.
But this also means that it isn't getting a boost from the elite.

Bitcoin is both a hindrance and a blessing to the elite, so it will get protection as it goes higher and higher, as those same elite will want to protect their money.
But bitcoin is also very transparent, so it goes with the elite wanting to watch and control everything.
But, but bitcoin is not really in their control, however that seems manageable to them.

Monero doesn't have this balance, and so it is just shunned and shunned.
However, it is really going to be important for real, non-white-market purchases in the future.
And so will be a HUGE player in that future.
