If these meters were actually smart,
they would have functions for helping power back on the electrical grid.
As in, turn on 500watts of resistance only loads.
(because you need a place to put all that power you are whipping around)
And then after you got all the gennys on and feeding
you could get the smart meter to start adding capacitive loads until the whole thing was working.

But no, no smart meter has this ultra important thing.

If these meters were actually smart,
they would have an informative display telling you about your power usage
and what is was actually costing in dollars and cents right this second.

But no, no smart meter has this very important thing.

What a smart meter has is important things like being able to adjust the measurement calibration.
(so it can read 150% usage instead of 100%)
It has the ability to talk to appliances in your house.
It has the ability to disturb your sleep cycles.

And as an added bonus, it can fry your electrical on command
