This here is a bad example.

What you are betting is excess capital. And if you are in a position to invest, you are already making more, and all you will lose is a bit of time. But comparatively, getting in and getting your feet wet quickly will save you time.

Its a small bet with a lot of upside. (whether you lose the money or not, you will gain in experience)

Not all choices are this nice.

Whether to watch a movie.
So you read some reviews.

Lets say its the latest fiasco "Cuties" (Mignones)
A little time spent reading personal reviews will save
you from spending hours with mind bleach, muttering "what did i just see"?

Once seen, you can't unsee it.

So, a few minutes can save you hours of pain.

Of course, your post is about avoiding the dreaded analysis paralysis.
If you just start moving forward... well you could lose everything from a stupid error.
When everything is on the line, finding cheaper ways to get your education is important.

Lastly, do not invest in the stock market at this time.
The stock market will go up and up and up and then.... NOTHING.
The people on robinhood will find they own a promise on a promise on a promise on an agreement to get a stock at a certain price. You will find you own nothing, and you may get some money back after years of negotiations.
