The communist-left (wish i had an appropriate name for them) have no touch with reality.

"Just give people more money, then everyone can buy food and no one will be poor"

These communist-left are so easy to go to violence.
They are facing an existential threat (made up in their minds)
And they can't realize what violence looks like.

The conservative-right (which they aren't anymore, but that's what we call them)
realizes exactly what happens when you start pulling the trigger.
And so, have been loathe to respond.

The elite-oligarchs who rule these cities seem to have a plan to burn down certain areas so they can buy it up cheap and do all the renovation they dreamed about without stupid people (who've been there for 50 years) getting in their way. Either that, or they are truly evil. We really should work on an evil detector.
